What we’re about
Get outside and see what's there! Come inside and listen to one of our monthly speakers! Meet other local birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts on Florida's Space Coast (Brevard County area). This meetup is for all those who appreciate Florida's amazing biodiversity and are interested in its conservation. Our group 's primary season is October to May during which we host monthly meetings with informative speakers. During our season we also offer multiple field trips each month that offer bird watching, wildlife viewing, plant and butterfly spotting, and opportunities for photography--all age groups and skill levels welcome. . We'd like to encourage impromptu meetups for special sightings or bird counts. For more information visit our website at www.spacecoastaudubon.org. Our Chapter is part of the national Audubon organization and a portion of the funding for our programs comes from individual memberships to Audubon.

Chips, Chirps and Cheer returns, with a new element. Chocolate!!! For our holiday meeting we will enjoy chips-n-dips, birder chat (chirps) and some holiday cheer. This season we will be adding an entire table dedicated to chocolate - pies, brownies, wrapped chocolates, cakes, or any treat that includes chocolate. To make the spirit of the season even brighter for our local wildlife we invite everyone to participate in our annual supply drive for the Florida Wildlife Hospital (FWH).
Doors will open at 6:30pm. We are kindly requesting everyone bring a dip to share or a chocolate treat. After a bit of social time, the Board will share a few chapter updates and a brief overview of some birding resources.
The holiday social will include raffles, stocking stuffers (a portion of the sales will go to Florida Wildlife Hospital), and birding stories. Florida Wildlife Hospital will share updates about their patient care.
