Square Dance Ottawa Monthly Dance

Have you ever tried Modern Square Dancing? Why not give it a try?! It's NOT the square dancing you would generally think of - ie., no fluffy skirts, no cowboy boots, no haybales in the corner of the room.... It's Modern! Wear what you like. Dance to Classic Rock, Alternative, Top 40 Hits, and more. If the music has a good beat, we'll dance to it!

Sure, we'll still Dosido but there's a LOT more than that! You just have to try it. And you just have to be prepared to have fun. I mean,,, dancing in groups of 8 just has to be fun, right? Now THAT's Social Dancing! 😊

People with two left feet are welcome. As long as you can count to 5, know your right hand from your left, and can laugh, you'll have a good time.

This is a paid event. You can pay $10 in advance by PayPal to "WendyCaller" or eTransfer to "[email protected]" or pay $12 at the door. If you pay in advance and it turns out you cannot attend the dance, your $10 will be applied to the next month's dance (but not longer than that).
