Stratford-upon-avon In Town Meetup

See you at The Greenway pay & display car park, Seven Meadows Road CV37 6GR for a 10.30 start. We will stop at Luddington Lock for a drink break (and snack if you want to bring one), so please bring a drink as there are no shops. (Having said this, last time we did this walk on a Wednesday, we discovered the village hall was open for tea/cake and toilet use, but can't guarantee this will be the case again this time.) This is an easy flat walk, mostly on tarmac for the first half, but coming back we will be following the path beside the river, which may be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear. From memory I think there is one stile.
Please note there are no toilets on this walk, unless the village hall is open that day.

It is hard to put a time to this event, as it depends what speed we walk at, how long we spend at the lock and whether people want to stop at the railway carriage for a coffee near the end of the walk. I have said 3 hours, but don't hold me to it :-)

After the first event it does appear everybody wants to repeat so here we are again
This would be on an indoor state of the art Shooting Simulator with an experienced qualified coach. The simulator has its own gun which is ideal for novices and is lightweight. There are a variety of targets from static to moving and involves tin cans, bisons, clays etc. We would have first of all general instructions and then practice shooting. After that we would have a friendly competition to see who is the crack shot amongst us.
The cost of the 2 hours is £120.00 so 8 people shooting would mean £15.00 each. Anything less than 8 would put the price up. I have shown 9 as I would be recording the scores but not shooting. If we only got 7 then I could be the 8th. If not enough interest the event would have to be cancelled. I have suggested at start time of 19.00 for those who could not make the earlier time before
As this event has to be paid for in full I need to receive your £15.00 by Friday 8th November to ensure you are attending. I will forward payment details to those who are attending. No refunds for cancellation unless the event is cancelled and then a refund in full

Come and join me for a fun afternoon! Various demonstrations of crafts which you can try yourself including Flower Arranging and other crafts based around the Christmas theme, as well was chatting to new people over a coffee.
This is a free event and you don't need to bring any craft supplies.
The event will be held in Building 1 of Stratford Hospital. There is parking in the multi-storey carpark at the back, where there is numberplate recognition and you pay at the machine on exiting.

We will aim to start the board games at 2.00. There is a pay and display carpark down the side of the pub. If you bring in one half of your ticket, they will refund you £1.00. I know some of you will be pleased to know they offer tea and coffee here too! :-).

If you have a favourite game, please do bring it along, as the pub doesn't have any.

This is my favourite Cotswolds walk. A beautiful classic, iconic, and quintessential Cotswolds walk . It’s 6 miles of fairly flat walking across lanes, tracks and fields. Take a day off from your Christmas shopping and join me. The best things in life are free.

Stratford Playhouse on Friday 6th December starting at 19.30 is the award winning show from the Adelphi and Savoy theatres in London of the Chicago Blues Bros

Tickets are not cheap at £35.65 each which includes the booking fee. Tickets are already half sold out.

It would be nice if we could all sit together and I am looking at the raised seat area so I am happy to book your seat if you forward your payment to me. I would not book your seat until payment is received. There would be no returns for cancellation. Or you could book your own seat and just meet in the bar before the show and during the interval. Please let me know your option.
