What we’re about
Swansea Roar Korfball Club is an inclusive, mixed-sex club based in Swansea, Wales.
We currently play in Division 2 of the WKL (Welsh Korfball League) and are competing in our second ever season.
We train at Penlan Leisure Centre on Thursday nights from 8pm-10pm and we are looking for people aged 18+ to come and join our club.
Never played Korfball before? That's absolutely fine! We welcome newcomers and experienced players alike and everyone receives their first 3 sessions with us, absolutely free!
After the free sessions finish membership prices are:
£25 for students.
£30 for non-students.
Korfball is a Dutch sport similar to basketball and netball. Teams are made up of 4 men and 4 women with half the team trying to score goals whilst the other half stop the opposition from scoring. Every 2 goals the roles switch.
