Talks
- OASIS - Domain Driven Design based framework using Django and DRF – Ed Ong
Building a user onboarding web app is simple. Modifying the app to support many customers, each with a set of forms and conflicting business rules can get hairy. How do we achieve this without multiple forks or making the app difficult to understand? At Nano, we built OASIS to solve this problem with three tenets in mind: 1) Use familiar tools, libraries and frameworks in a canonical way, 2) Establish patterns and try hard to use them, and 3) Dev and product teams must share a common vocabulary for business concepts. In this talk we will describe and discuss OASIS and its Domain Driven Design DNA and backend driven form engine.
- Bridging Two Worlds: Leveraging Lisp-like Tools to work with Python – Burin Choomnuan
In this talk, we’ll explore how to harness the power of Lisp-inspired tools to work seamlessly with Python, bringing together the flexibility of Python and the expressive, functional programming features of Lisp. We’ll cover tools like Basilisp, libpython-clj, and others, showcasing how they can be used to script, extend, or manipulate Python programs in unique ways.
Lightning Talks- Processing independent Django models using round-robin iteration – JP Moral
- EOY SyDjango Community Update – Artem Kolesnikov
