To supplement the physical meetups and provide a social outlet for those of us who sometimes have difficulty getting out, I've created an online chat area.

If you have never used Slack before, here's what you need to do to join the conversation:

* At 7 PM on the evening of the event, click the invitation link in the comments section
* When you click the link it will ask for the name of the company, enter "SydneyIntroverts"; if that doesn't work try "IntrovertsSydney".
* This normally takes you to the #general channel; you need to click the link above it titled #discussion-group
* Once you are in the #discussion-group channel you will see the chat
* Topic at the very top of the screen
* Use the text bar at the bottom of the screen to chat
