SSP TUE ...PLATYPUS SUB BASE

We will meet at Circular Quay Wharf 5 to catch the 1025 ferry to North Sydney Wharf. Then we will walk around the Sub Base precinct and parks then go up to the historic display in the old Torpedo factory. There is a lift up to this level or stairs. There is also a steep circular staircase at the other end for views of the cove that sheltered Australian and allied submarines during WWII. As for the revamped buildings, they are all empty, not even a Cafe. The theme is Architecture and Contrast. At 1205 we will get the ferry back to Circular Quay. Lunch at The Paragon. Difficulty level: as easy or hard as you want.
