What we’re about
A safe, fun, and positive space for women from the Bellarine and surrounds to meet, talk, and network while enjoying coffee, drinks, walks, lunches, dinners, shows, movies ... anything that our members want to host! As a guide, the age group is about 45 plus. We're not a business networking group but you're welcome to mention your business
Positive and friendly interaction is encouraged in our supportive (but not 'support') group. Let's make sure we always build each other up. As Aretha said, R-E-S-P-E-C-T is the main tenet of our group.
The most important things to note are:
1. Please update your RSVP if you can't attend for any reason. Explanations aren't necessary as organisers prefer to count the numbers attending.
2. Always be on time for seated events. Organise your schedule to find a park and arrive a bit early. We don't wait more than 10 minutes for everyone to arrive out of respect for those who are there on time and want to order.
3. Introduce yourself and get to know the women sitting near you.
4. Please show respect to all event organisers who volunteered their time to organise a fun event for all to attend.
The organiser of this group is Virginia who pays a Meetup subscription which costs approx $450 per year. I run another group, Bitsers, through the same subscription. A yearly $10 contribution will be requested in February each year, in time for when the subscription falls due in March. If you join between September 24 and February 25, you don’t need to pay until requested. You can pay the $10 to this account:

Please note if Meetup fees go up substantially or if there aren't enough new members paying the $10, I may ask you to chip in again, but this won't be annual.
