Continuing the theme of regular Monday meet-ups online, and encouraging a greater unity of conscientious thinkers and minds.
On Monday 18 November at 20:30 we will discuss the topic of continuous distractions in our lives, the bane of the 21st century being the smart-phone. A device that has brought great leaps and bounds for the ability to do more with less but which at the same time has caused boundless holes of emptiness and addiction for many. Is it that bad? What are the dangers? Do you want to be around people who strive for more than just the entertainment they get between their palms?
Agenda:
20:30 - Arrival and Introductions from attendees
20:40 - Kick off our perspective of smartphones and screen time
20:50 - Examples of good and bad use, how to monitor and develop discipline with screen time
21:00 - Open floor on general thoughts and related topics
21:20 - Closing remarks
