This is a fun, non-serious book club for ladies who like to read books and then discuss them in a safe, respectful environment where everyone's opinion is valued. There may be some debate about themes or meanings or even whether it was a good book or not but in the end it's really about celebrating the joy of reading with other lady types who love the written word and discovering new books and authors!

This book club does not limit our reading to a specific genre (or genres) of books and we read both fiction and non-fiction books. While we are not specifically a feminist book club it is important to note that due to the membership composition, we do tend to lean towards books that are written by and about women and women's experiences or focus on the experiences of marginalised or under-represented groups in society such as immigrants, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, LGBTQI+ people, First Nations people and own voices stories. We are unlikely to ready "classics".

If you haven't finished the book, that's ok! Please join us for the discussion, laughs and sharing anyway (a word of warning, however; there will be spoilers!). We talk about a lot more than just this month's book.

Generally we meet on the first Wednesday each month at a location in the inner suburbs of Perth however this can vary based on public holidays and other events
