TRI CHADD NJ is one of a nationwide network of Affiliates from CHADD-the nation's premiere organization serving children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We are the state representative chapter for NJ, and the best way to connect with resources and a local ADHD support group. TRI CHADD NJ offers information, ADHD resources, support meetings and presentations on ADHD for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals and others.
CHADD is a membership organization, produces the bi-monthly ATTENTION! Magazine (for members) and sponsors the Annual International Conferences on ADHD. The National Resource Center on ADHD, is the CDC's (Centers for Disease Control) funded national clearinghouse for evidence based information about ADHD.

CHADD National Website links to national and community resources ( <a>www.chadd.org</a>) The NRC (National Resource Center) on ADHD is apart of CHADD's website and under the "ABOUT" tab. As a program of CHADD, the National Resource Center on ADHD works closely with CHADD’s Professional Advisory Board of nationally recognized ADHD experts to ensure that its materials meet the highest standards for scientifically based information.

Parent and Adult Support Group Meetings We hold monthly meetings that are facilitated by qualified and expert volunteer parents and peers. Until we can meet in person, meetings are held online, by separate facilitators and will be announced separately.
Professional Speaker Series For time to time, TRI CHADD NJ provides experts and authorities on ADHD for our members. This special meeting features a monthly local clinician or educator presentation on various current topics, treatments, resources on ADHD. These meetings are usually held and scheduled separately from the monthly Parent and Adult Support Group meetings.

Parenting a child with ADHD brings both joys and challenges. Teacher to Teacher: CHADD (the National Resource on ADHD) has developed Teacher to Teacher (T2T). Designed by teachers for teachers, this multisession, interactive training course is developed and taught by expert educators to give practical strategies and resources to educators working with students with ADHD.
