You want to play with army trucks. You know you do.

I've been curious about the American Armory Museum and they will be hosting an Open House Ride Day on November 16. This is the best time to check out a collection of military equipment in Suisun. Maybe you'll get to ride a tank or discover something new. (You can see some of the information here: https://americanarmorymuseum.org/bartells-backroads)

We'll meet at the Park & Ride lot across from the Suisun Amtrak station (in Suisun, NOT the station in Fairfield) and carpool to the museum from there. After we've had our fill of Army memorabilia, we can cruise over to 1933 Kitchen & Bar for some authentic American food - salads, pizzas, burgers and more. It will be a great time to share what we learned and get to know each other better.

It’s not autumn without a visit to Apple Hill. We can carpool from Valley Church and take part in a little harvest fun, and get a jump on our Christmas shopping. We can get lunch, enjoy each other’s company and maybe take a quick detour to Placerville.

What’s your favorite orchard or seller? We’ll do our best to stop there during our adventure.
