A recent 1 on 1 photo session with New York City fashion and fine art photographer Mark de Paola is the inspiration for this workshop. As a photographer, de Paola is known for his dreamy fashion and fine art photography, and applying advances in neuroscience to the visual arts.
You can see some of de Paola's photography at: https://www.depaolapictures.com/
We will explore and show how to shoot "outside the box" and be creative!
There will be 3 segments to the workshop:
i) shooting wide open with very shallow depth of field, creating a slightly blurred image for a dreamy look,
ii) use of distortion and perspective to add interest to your portfolio, and
iii) using props to tell a story in an image.
Our model for the workshop will be the beautiful and talented Italian model, Beatrice Morgana...
Beatrice's modeling will vary from fashion/editorial/lifestyle to boudoir / fine art nude. You can see her portfolio on Instagram:

and Model Mayhem: https://www.modelmayhem.com/4386704By the end of the workshop you will have unique images that you can add to your portfolio as examples of your creativity as a photographer.
