Riverside Drumming

Come and drum together by the river at Orleigh Park West End. Beginners welcome, plenty of percussive toys and drums to share. We generally drum for an hour and close with hand pan and chimes.

Free community event! A $5 donation towards use of equipment is suggested but not compulsory.
Unlimited places.

Time – 4.30 pm start, finish around 6 pm. This is a free-flowing community event, so you can come and go as you please.

Location – Orleigh Park, West End (58 Orleigh Street). We are near the bus stop and up from the Citycat ferry stop, under the trees, along Orleigh St. We are not at the Hill End part of the park.

Transport – The venue is close to public transport and there’s street parking available.

Clothing – Something comfortable. It can be cool by the river even in summer.

What to bring – A blanket, cushion or chair. If you have a drum, please bring it to add your own unique energy into the circle! We also provide additional drums and percussion instruments.

People invited – Anyone and everyone! This a community-based, child-and-pet-friendly event.
