WSTM is a passionate theater group that meets monthly to delve into the vibrant live theater scene of the Chicago Western Suburbs. Our primary goal is to watch the shows that you're most excited about and immerse ourselves in an enjoyable experience while forging new friendships.

Theater is a deeply personal encounter, and what captivates one person might not resonate with another. That's why we invite a few of our members to gather for a post-play discussion over drinks, sharing our diverse experiences and perspectives.

Synopsis:
Tood, Weetsie, and Sybill are brides in rural Louisiana, each married to a Cliffert brother and living under their mother-in-law's roof. Their men are off to war and a local news article about these young wives attracts the attention of American magazine magnate Henry Luce. He decides they belong on the cover of Life Magazine and assigns Kate Miller, a war correspondent, to the story. Though she views doing a “women's piece” as a career setback, she accepts her first cover story and embarks on a greater journey than she anticipates. Kate's perspective shifts during her week with the Cliffert women, challenging her urban attitudes and confronting her own vulnerabilities in a male-dominated world. Filled with charm, heartache, and hope, The Cover of Life is a deeply affecting story about the struggle for self-worth.Tickets:
