What we’re about
We're a friendly group of people based in Parramatta that love to drum! We're always looking for new people to join us. We meet most Tues nights and learn and play some beats from the streets of Rio! We also dabble in some Brazilian regional styles such as funk, samba-reggae, maculele, Afro & Afoxe. It sounds scary, but it absolutely isn't! We make it very easy, and beginners are very very welcome and encouraged to come and give it a go! All drums are provided, so come along, have some fun and make some noise with us! We also get the opportunity to perform from time to time at street festivals, the Easter Show, small music festivals and so on. Performing is not compulsory but it's a fun way to show off what you've been learning! We hope to meet some of you soon!
