Welcome to the Widewater State Park Volunteers Meetup group!
We support Widewater State Park in Stafford, Virginia by participating in volunteering efforts such as trail maintenance, invasive species removal, tending to the native plant garden, and helping out with the educational programs and events. Widewater offers a variety of recreational sports such as hiking, kayaking, and archery. If sports aren't your speed then we can meet up for birdwatching, fishing, outdoor photography, or even just a picnic at one of the shelters. Open since 2018, Widewater still has a lot of buildout left, including trails, campgrounds, and other amenities. Let's get together and help create another beautiful Virginia State Park that we all can enjoy!
