The New Boorloo Bridge Opening Evening Walk - Bridge to Bridge loop (approx10k)

Lets Celebrate the Opening of the new "Boorloo Bridge" with an evening walk and picnic afterwards on the South Perth Foreshore overlooking the CBD Skyline after sunset taking advantage of Perth's best food trucks set up at Sir James Mitchell Park for StrEATs

We are repeating a great walk that Walking Mates has done often in the past but for the first time we get to walk over the Boorloo Bridge as the sun sets over Perth.

This is circular route taking in the South Perth and City foreshores between the Narrows bridge and the new Boorloo bridge.

Where
Meeting near the Boatshed café and restaurant. (See the pin drop)

Parking
Carparks are nearby.

Free Car Parking is available at Douglas Avenue, just 150m south east.

Closer Paid parking is available. Check signs for times

Distance
Approximately 10km just less than 2hrs walking.

Difficulty
An easy walk but expect a reasonably decent pace on well paved shared pathways with cyclists, kids and dogs etc.

What to bring
Water, good walking shoes, hat & sunscreen and if staying for a picnic
BYO food, cold drink, a thermos of hot coffee, a chair/picnic rug, mosquito repellent and a jumper.

We aim to set-off for each walk at the advertised time and as a general rule, we set off on-time for each walk.
