What we're about...

POWERtalk is an organization of not-for-profit clubs providing professional coaching in effective speaking and presentation skills.

At meetings members of the organisation deliver prepared speeches, practice interpretative reading, provide and receive education, learn how to speak off the cuff and much, much more.

Through coaching, supportive evaluation and practise at regular club meetings, members receive immediate and on-going improvement in their ability to confidently address any audience.

For those seeking to gain a qualification, the optional Speakers Development Programme offers specific goals to receive recognition as a communicator.

Visitors can attend three meetings for free to check out what happens at club meetings. Visitors are welcome to continue to attend meetings at a cost of $6 per meeting until they decide if they want to join and when they do so, will be placed on the speaking program.

Membership for the year is around $55 (plus cost of meeting room hire). This is due on August 1st each year. Members find this is a very inexpensive investment for the opportunities offered.
