Meet at Pt. Arkwright lookout in Andrew Street near Jubilee Esplanade. Street parking and car park.
A beautiful walk along the clifftop in bushlabd, popping out occassionally to lookouts and paths with great views a little bit of roadwalking so bring a hat.
Point Arkwright, like Point Perry Coolum, is a great place to view migrating whales heading south during Spring. There could even be even dolphin and turtle sightings if you’re in luck.
Walk to Coolum through bushland, ocean paths, first bay, point perry then onto the boardwalk, have coffee at Coolum and walk back.
Approx 6 km.
Bring a hat for the open parts of the path.
