Bellingham Women's 30s+ Social Community Group!

Have you been to Lake Whatcom yet, by chance? It's amazing!

Our lovely group of women will walk the former Bellingham Bay & Eastern Railway along Lake Whatcom. At the 2.5-mile mark, they will turn around, and fantastic old-growth trees will line the path.

Along the way, we will spy:

• Mountain views!
• Old growth!
• Waterfalls!
• Wildlife!

Elevation gain is 100 feet - easy hike

Bring your sturdy shoes, gloves, and hat,
rain gear

Love being outside in PNW nature :)

Getting there:

Lake Whatcom Park
North Lake Whatcom Park Hertz Trail
3330 North Shore Drive

Parking access is only available from the trail's NORTH end in Lake Whatcom Park (3330 North Shore Drive). From Bellingham, follow North Shore Drive east to near the road's end and then follow signs to the parking lot.

We will meet at the parking lot near the trailhead between 9:50 AM to 10:05 AM :)

I will post my number in the comments on the morning of the hike, so please don't hesitate to call me if you can't find us.

Let’s listen to holiday music at 4:30 to 5:00, then watch the Fairhaven Winter Tree be lit at 5:00 PM. We will walk to Skylarks for dinner afterwards.
