What we’re about
We are people who care about making the reader experience awesome by delivering excellent documentation. We're writers, developers, designers, learning professionals, and documentation enthusiasts. Come to our meetup and strategise how to make documentation great, enjoy a beverage and refreshments, and meet fellow people who care about documentation in the Berlin and wider area.
Write the Docs is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks. See all- WTD Berlin @ JetBrains - Svetlana Novikova - Beyond static docsJetBrains, Berlin
This month, we'll visit the Berlin office of JetBrains, who recently released their Writerside product.
Svetlana Novikova (Technical Writer at JetBrains; see Linkedin and her blog posts on the JetBrains site) will present us what lies Beyond static docs: trends in documenting software solutions and their impact on the tooling.
This talk will be from the perspective of JetBrains product developers, providing insights into how the documentation landscape is evolving, and showcasing innovative approaches that shape both the practice of documentation and the tools used to create and manage it.
Particularly relevant for: technical writers, documentation managers, and product teams looking to stay ahead of the curve in delivering effective software documentation.
Doors open at 6 PM and program starts at 6:30 PM.
There will be plenty of time to mingle and discuss pros and cons of JetBrains' approach.
JetBrains went above and beyond, and is not only graciously allowing us to use their event space, but also sponsoring food and beverages.
Please make sure to RSVP no later than November 18th, 6 PM. We will have to check you in (corporate HQ security and all that).
