What we’re about
The York LGBT Forum was established in 2006, to act as a strong and unified voice for the local LGBT+ community. We achieved charity status in 2015. We also represent other minority groups who fall under the LGBT+ umbrella. Whilst the Forum works within the York and North Yorkshire area, it isn’t exclusive to York. We have recently started to work internationally.
We hold regular events and get-togethers which provide opportunities to meet new people, gain support and have fun. Anybody is welcome to join this Meetup group and we can arrange a buddy if you are anxious about attending on your own. We look forward to meeting you!
