What we’re about
We advocate a ban on the retail sale of dogs, cats and rabbits in Iowa City. The focus should shift towards the adoption of healthy, homeless animals and away from breeding in facilities such as puppy and kitten "mills". This creates a more healthful population of companion animals (and guardians), benefits those animals in need of homes and happiness, and saves the city funding as well as simultaneously increasing revenue.
