Saturday 11:30 am ESL Group Practice Session

This ESL meetup starts at 11:30 am on Saturday morning, and will be held in person. We will meet at Tim Horton’s, 19 Marion Street, in the Dominion strip mall. Everyone is welcome but you must sign up and get a confirmed spot in the group. This session is led by Jill, a former English teacher.
Sign-ups for any empty spots in the Saturday group will open at 1:15 pm on Saturday, one week prior to the Meetup.

Cost for the lesson is $4 and is to be paid via etransfer. Once you sign up for the class, I will send you a private message on Meetups with the information you will need to send me the payment before the class. Please bring enough money to the meetup to pay for a coffee (or something else to eat or drink) at Tim Horton’s.

Please do not attend if you are coughing, sneezing, have a sore throat or others symptoms of COVID, even if you have tested negatively.

This recurring ESL practice session is for those who would like to improve their English grammar and pronunciation. The focus is on improving those hard-to-pronounce words and sounds, getting rid of that little bit of accent that lingers, practicing verb tenses and learning idioms and vocabulary. It is a casual, non-threatening informal group. All levels of English learners are welcome!
