What we’re about
If you are a sustainability professional or enthusiast who wants to go beyond simply speaking English, you're in luck! You can gain confidence in your speaking and listening by conversing with people from around the world.
To participate, you must be able and willing to speak in English the entire time. This means that you need enough vocabulary and the fundamentals of grammar to carry on a conversation (it's ok to make many mistakes).
In these events, we have two or three small-group conversations centered around a common topic that everyone can speak about. Topics are typically based on your experience related to sustainability, climate change.
Here are the guidelines:
- Be polite and professional
- Speak as much as you listen
- Try to understand: ask for repetition, clarification, spelling, and more
- Make note of new words and interesting ideas
