Join our ONLINE conversation and grammar classes led by me, Ylenia, a qualified Spanish teacher with 10 years of experience.
I’m from San Sebastián, but I’ve lived between London and Melbourne for the past 10 years. I’ve worked as a Spanish teacher in Spanish schools like Spanish House London, El Patio Melbourne, and Instituto Cervantes. I also have experience preparing students for official exams and worked as an examiner for Instituto Cervantes.
I’m now based in Madrid, where I organise language exchange events with my friend Laura.
I love tailoring my online classes so every student learns effectively while enjoying the process. The most important thing for me is that you feel comfortable as you improve your Spanish.THE CLASS
The class will last 1 hour on Google Meets and will combine grammar review with conversation activities.
The topic this week will be Travel and Experiences, used as a pretext to practice the following structures:- Describing a past trip (using the pretérito indefinido).
- Planning an ideal vacation (using structures to talk about the future, such as me gustaría or quiero + infinitivo).
- Describing a planned future trip (using the futuro simple).
We’ll also review the use of "por" and "para" to explain reasons and objectives in this context.

La temática es Viajes y Experiencias como pretexto para practicar las siguientes estructuras:
- Describir un viaje pasado (usando el pretérito indefinido).
- Planificar unas vacaciones ideales (usando estructuras para hablar del futuro, como me gustaría o quiero + infinitivo).
- Describir un viaje futuro planificado (usando el futuro simple)
- Repasaremos el uso de "por" y "para" para explicar motivos y objetivos en este contexto.
Los temas cambiarán cada semana.
