This time we are climbing the famous peak of La Peñota from the nearby town of Cercedilla.

➡ HOW TO GET THERE / DONDE QUEDAMOS Y CÓMO LLEGAR.

🕑 We are MEETING at 10:45h in Patones de Abajo, at Bar Manolo.

🚗 We will try to allocate everyone in the available cars, leaving from Plaza de Castilla around 9:45h.

🚌 However, in case there are not enough cars available for everyone, there is a bus (197) leaving from Plaza de Castilla at 9:30 that can take you to Torrelaguna, arriving around 10:30h. And we can pick you up from there and drive you to the initial point of the hike.

Final arrangaments will be made on the day before the hike once we know how many cars are available.

➡ WHAT TO BRING

• Hiking shoes or mountain boots. Trail running sneakers are ok as well.
• A small backpack for your stuff.
• 1L of water or other soft drinks per person.
• Your lunch. A snack will be provided.
• Sunscreen & sunglasses
• A hat or a cap.
• A fleece or warm sweatshirt.
• A light windproof jacket if you have one it is recommended.
• Bring yourself ready to enjoy a wonderful and fun hike with like-minded people! :)

We expect to be back at Plaza de Castilla around 18:00. This expected time is approximated since hiking depends on the group's pace and any other circumstances that might arise along the hike.
