Class 2 - Thursdays; 8:30 - 11:00pm
THE ART OF ACTING
Sessions are in english and each actor decides which language they want to work in.
Sessions are held twice a week and each class is a stand alone independent class of 2 and a 1/2 hours and gives maximum flexibility in how you can participate.
Open to all experience levels interested in improving their ACTING and transformational skills. Learning is observing - watching other actors deepen their work with technique and imagination teaches.
Each participant is given an original monologue from which they will develop a credible character applying different techniques such as sense memory, personal object, costume, the five senses, what if, choice and risk, and permission to play to name a few. (There are many)
THE OBJECTIVE IS:
TO PROVIDE THE ACTOR WITH CREATIVE TOOLS AND DEMYSTIFY THE PROCESS.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned actor working on developing and exploring your process, this is the place for you if you really have a desire and passion for ACTING.
WHAT TO EXPECT:

• To understand the value of your own emotional life and use it to deepen your understanding of a character.
• How great acting is a result of risk taking and becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
• A commitment to transform is letting go of your past conceptions and embracing your deeper instincts.
• Become the character by making bold choices with no judgement.
• You have the freedom to take the sessions whenever you want.
