❌at 1015 to Start Car share at 1020. Start is 18 miles/ 28km away. ❌

We start in our familiar cafe used before heading to attempt to cross the low southern range. This then picks up on a familiar climb to the summit. After lunch we make our way down and across to locate the new motorway bridge over the railway, then head back to town.

Cabezo Gordo is translated on Google as ‘Fat Head’. It is the peak of a baby range of hills to the south of the RM-17 which is prominent as you drive the auto via Del Mar Menor. Its our closest peak to Torrevieja. These caves and Tunnels are listed as a top tourist attraction in our area.
