Bienvenidos Amigos!
¿Estás aprendiendo ingles, pero no conoces a nadie para practicar? O eres extranjero y quieres conocer gente de Bogota y practicar tu español, pero no saben cómo o dónde? El language exchange es el lugar para aprender y practicar español o Inglés en un ambiente informal y agradable! También para hacer nuevos amigos, compartir experiencias, aprender sobre otras culturas y tener un tiempo fantástico! ¿Quién puede participar? Cualquier persona que habla o está aprendiendo español o Inglés o que es curioso sobre el aprendizaje de idiomas. No importa si eres principiante o tienes buen nivel. La idea es que si tu estás aprendiendo español, nuestros amigos Colombianos le ayudarán a mejorar sus conocimientos del idioma y viceversa para las personas que están aprendiendo Inglés. ¿Como funciona? Organizamos diferentes actividades y juegos guiados para ayudarte a "romper el hielo". La mitad del tiempo será en español y la otra mitad en Inglés. De esta manera todo el mundo tendrá la oportunidad de practicar y de ayudar a otros a aprender también. ¿Puedo ir incluso si soy un principiante? ¡Claro! Todo el mundo es bienvenido a participar! No importa cuál sea tu nivel. Estamos aquí para ayudar a todo el mundo! ¿Puedo ir solo? ¡Por supuesto! Todo está organizado para ti y el ambiente es muy amable, así que no tendras que sentirte intimidado. Verás lo fácil que es hacer nuevos amigos, practicar el idioma, aprender acerca de otros países y culturas, y para divertirse! ¡Esperamos verte pronto!

Welcome friends!
Are you learning Spanish but you don’t know anyone you can practise with? Or Are you from Medellin and want to meet foreigners but don’t know how or where? The Spanish & English Language Exchange is the place to be if you are interested in learning and practising Spanish or English in a casual and friendly environment! You will also be able to make new friends, share your travel experiences, learn about other cultures and have a fantastic time!
Who can participate? Anybody who speaks or is learning Spanish or English or who is curious about learning these languages. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a fluent speaker. The idea is that if you are learning Spanish and Colombian friends will help you to improve your language skills and vice-versa for the people who are learning English. How does it work? We organise different events with guided activities and games to help you “break the ice”, then we let you continue with the conversation with your new friends. Half of the time will be in Spanish and the other half in English. This way everyone will have the chance to practise and you will be able to help others to learn your language too.
Can I go even if I’m a beginner? Of course! Everyone is welcome to participate! No matter what your level is. We are here to help everybody!
Can I go on my own? Absolutely! Everything is organised for you and the environment is very friendly, so you don’t have to feel intimidated. You will see how easy it is to make new friends, to practise the language, to learn about other countries and cultures and to have fun! We look forward to seeing you soon!
