We recognize that the startup journey can be challenging and often lonely, but we believe an engaged and supportive community can be the unfair advantage that makes all the difference. Our mission is focused on four key areas:

1. **Fostering Connections:** In Austin’s rapidly growing tech scene, we provide a centralized gathering where like-minded individuals can come together monthly to share ideas, collaborate, help one another, and build lasting relationships.
2. **Providing Resources:** Many startups struggle due to a lack of access to essential resources like funding. FIESTA connects startups with the tools and knowledge.
3. **Encouraging a giving and welcoming environment:** We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed and empowered regardless of background.
4. **Celebrating Successes:** Entrepreneurship is challenging, and FIESTA believes in celebrating every milestone to keep the community motivated and inspired.

**AGENDA FOR THE MONTHLY MEETUP**

* 5:30 PM Check-in begins, and doors open. Connections happen by scanning the QR code at the entrance and then wearing the name tag.
* 5:30 - 6:40 PM - Grab your nametag, network, and enjoy the snacks.
* **Pizza & drinks are served only until 6:35 PM**
* 6:40 –7:15 PM - Announcements, meet the sponsors and funders (angels, VCs, etc.) Then 10 founders share their 1-minute pitches
* 7:15 - 8:30 PM Network & connect with many unique humans and our pitch presenters.
* 8:30 PM—Exit the room as the doors close. If you want to continue visiting, the lobby is open and there is a hotel bar.

Parking: Street parking is free after 6 PM. Capital Factory Austin offers parking validations between 5 and 10 PM Monday through Friday. Guests must enter the garage at 5 pm or later and leave before 10 pm to have their **parking validated** down to $8 using a coupon provided by the front desk host.
