About the code talk
In this talk we explore what "effect types" are, and how they make programming in Scala simpler, easier, and more performant, by using the Scala library "cats-effect".

About the speaker.
Francisco Aramburo is a Staff Engineer at Etsy, where he uses Scala and cats-effect to orchestrate millions of features for machine learning inferences per second. He has also been a Scala developer for the last 11 years.
