Mossey Well to Hillbillies – Friday Evening Walk & Drinks

Walk length 2 miles/3 km approx. Linear.

A chance to explore a fascinating area of north London from East Finchley to Muswell Hill the original source of the River Moselle. Starting with some ancient woodland and walking past Victorian and Edwardian Mansions with some of the locations of the famous 60s and 70s band the Kinks, responsible for the album Muswell Hillbillies.

A fact filled voyage of discovery, there is a chance in small groups to get optional refreshments at a classy pub near Muswell Hill.

Meeting

Meet outside East Funchley Underground from 6.15pm the walk to start at 6.30pm (see photo above), the walk is linear and finishes at Muswell Hill. Muswell Hill is not on the underground so you will need to walk back 25 minutes to either East Finchley or south to Highgate both on the Northern Line. The pub at the end is also close to a large bus terminal See Transport for London (http://www.tfl.gov.uk/)

Walking Safety
