We meet outside the Ship on the B3051 at Ashford Hill RG19 8BD.
There is a free car park by the recreation ground in Chapel Lane just off the main drag. There is a 2 metre height restriction on entering the car park. From here it's a 2 minute walk back to the Ship Inn.

This circular hike offers a varied, scenic route which leads us through woodland trails, the rolling acres of Wasing Park and along the banks of the river Enbourne which runs through the Haughurst Hill nature reserve on the Hampshire borders.
We will walk at a moderate to brisk pace so please ensure that you are able to keep this up for the duration of the hike. There will be a picnic stop on route so it would be a good idea to bring a packed lunch or some snacks plus plenty of water.
For your comfort and safety, suitable hiking boots or shoes are essential as the ground can be very muddy at this time of year. Fashion trainers are not appropriate as they could put you at risk of slipping and injuring yourself.
There will be the usual £5.00 charge payable in cash at the start of the walk.
