What we’re about
The Evanston Writers Group is an eclectic mix of writers, ranging from beginners to long time professionals, and reflect all ages, genders and backgrounds.
We have members who publish literary fiction, creative non-fiction, children's literature, romance, hard-boiled crime, memoir, travel, poetry, humor and assorted forms of the unclassifiable.
Because we are fearless and a little nuts, we open our minds to anyone and any thing. We'll bend and stretch ourselves like soft licorice to dig your stuff. Most importantly, we'll help you get it published.
There is no censorship at the Evanston Writers Group.

The Evanston Writers Workshop Poetry Group will be meeting on the second Thursday of the month, from 7-9 P.M.
As we'll be meeting at a private residence, expect to receive the address for our next meeting location in a private email, closer to the event.
People may submit 1-2 poems per person for critique via the email address [email protected]. Please submit your poems no later than the weekend before the meeting, so we have time to get them on the google drive, and people can review them in advance.
To find the poems we'll be reviewing for this month's meeting, visit our group website, https://evanstonwritersworkshop.org/ and look for the link to our submissions file drive under "Calendar and Submissions". The submitted poems will be accessible the week of the event.
