Join us for a wander and coffee at Mamhead Woods.

Mamhead Woods is a Forestry England woodland which provides a perfect place for a walk with friends. Think Haldon Forest without the parking fees!

The plan is to get a takeaway drink from the Teign Bean Coffee van on site before heading out. We will do a figure of 8 walk from Mamhead Woods car park. We will go via the panoramic viewpoint where you can see out over the Exe estuary and Jurassic Coast then walk across the road into Zigzag Wood for the final loop.

The route is approximately 6.5km and active walking time is expected to be 1hr 30m. This is a fairly easy walk and we will largely following gravel paths but some areas may get muddy.

Dogs and their well behaved owners welcome. The car park is not huge so please car share where possible!
