Starcross to Exeter walk (13.5km)

Event Info

Another favourite walk of mine.

This hike will commence from Starcross back up the Exe Estuary to Exeter, short stop for lunch at either The Turf Hotel or Double Locks, see how everyone feels.

• Distance: 8.4 miles/ 13.5km
• Meet: Starcross Railway Station, just down from the Platform
• You can bring along a packed lunch if you wanted to
• After the hike, we can go for a drink and hang out on the Quay or the City centre.

Important Info

• Train Times: Earliest - 10:22 (Exeter Central), 10:28 (Exeter St Davids). 09:48 (Paignton) 10:11 (Newton Abbot), 10:18 (Teignmouth)
• Number 2 Bus Times: 10:10 from Exeter. Either 09:10 or 09:40 from Newton Abbot.
• Dogs are more than welcome
• Maybe a chilly one so make sure to bring warm clothing
