Fancy practising your Español? Let's meet up for some Spanish conversation - you just need to be enthusiastic about speaking Spanish. It's not a class/lesson and no teaching happens during the meetings, but if you fancy practising what you know please come along. There's only one rule - come and speak SPANISH! :-) (no English permitted ;-))
Frequently asked question: "I am a beginner - is this suitable for me?"
I often get asked this question, so I thought it would be best to put this in the group description. We don't do any teaching, it's a ‘practice what you know’ type meeting. The level of the group all depends on who turns up on the day, We often get some super fluent people/natives, one or two beginners, and many different levels in-between. Some beginners are happy to sit and listen and try to pick things up, others find it frustrating if the conversation level is too high on the day and find the meeting unsuitable. I would say the best thing to do would be to come along for an hour or so and just see if you enjoy it/find it helpful. I would say if you have never done any Spanish, e.g. lessons, or learnt on the go in a Spanish speaking country, then you may get a bit lost. Any questions please send me a private message.
