The ridge spans approximately 5 km of rugged terrain, with most of the ridge featuring fairly easy scrambling, making it approachable yet adventurous. It’s a fantastic introduction to ridge traverses, culminating in a short, narrow ridge section for those seeking to push their boundaries in a safe and supportive setting. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Marina Alta and Marina Baixa, all while immersed in the wild and untamed beauty of the Sierra del Ferrer.
With plenty of new ridge routes planned for this season, this hike is the perfect opportunity to see if you're ready to push beyond and take on even more exciting challenges in the mountains!

¡La ruta circular de Ferrer Ridge, que comienza y termina en el Restaurante Coll de Rates, es una joya menos conocida a la sombra de la famosa Sierra Bernia, ofreciendo una experiencia de montaña más íntima pero igual de emocionante. Ofrecemos esta caminata por demanda popular, ya que es una excelente opción para senderistas que quieren probar el scrambling o caminar por una cresta por primera vez.La cresta cubre aproximadamente 5 km de terreno accidentado, con la mayor parte de la cresta ofreciendo un scrambling bastante fácil, lo que la hace accesible pero aventurera. Due to some schedule changes this week, we’ve swapped our planned canyoning event for an exciting via ferrata adventure at the Barranc de les Raboses (K2). This recently established route is a fantastic blend of via ferrata and canyoning, offering a unique experience that’s perfect for adventurers of all levels.
While rappel skills can be helpful for navigating certain sections, they’re not essential to enjoy the route. Combining classic ferrata climbing with canyon-like features, this event is a great opportunity to try something new and exciting. Whether you’re looking to practice, improve, or just connect with fellow climbers, this group offers a perfect opportunity. We’ll be meeting once or twice a month, encouraging a mix of skill levels so participants can exchange tips, share experiences, and enjoy the challenge together.
Participants need to bring their own equipment.While proof of insurance is not necessary, please be mindful of safety guidelines. This is a peer-supported group, with no instructors or formal lessons, but we’re also planning a future skills day led by an instructor to help those with no prior experience eventually join.

Join us for an exhilarating two-day fundraising adventure as we take on five stunning via ferratas in Murcia, Spain! This event is all about having fun while raising essential funds for a via ferrata rescue kit for our group.Participants will experience the breathtaking beauty of the Cañón de los Almadenes, Cabezo Miñaque, Sierra de Lúgar, Vía Ferrata del Ciervo, and Vía Ferrata Cañón de Almadenes. Is it even possible to complete all five? We’ll give it our best shot and have a blast trying!
The adventure includes an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel, with the price covering your accommodation. This is based on single occupancy, but you can split the cost of the hotel room if you’re sharing. After our first day of climbing, we’ll enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, and we might grab something to eat after the second day before everyone heads home.
Please note that food is not included in the event price.
Transport is available with pickups from Ondara, Altea, Alicante, and Elche for an additional €25.
Your participation not only supports a vital cause but also guarantees an unforgettable weekend filled with laughter, adventure, and camaraderie as we challenge ourselves together.

We’ll travel at the perfect time to enjoy the town’s winter charm without the crowds, breathing in crisp, fresh air as we explore scenic trails and historic streets.Cost: €175 per person (€50 extra for a private room)
Spaces Limited: 7 participantsOur hikes range from gentle to moderate difficulty, offering stunning views, a touch of history, and time to unwind by a warm fire after a day’s adventure.
### Day 1: Friday
Departure - 9:00 AM from Costa Blanca
Travel to Albarracín, with a relaxing 3.5-hour journey through the countryside, making pickups in Alicante, Altea, and Ondara.
Arrive in Albarracín around midday and check into the historic Hotel Albarracín. Rooms are available in single or twin occupancy.Afternoon Hike: Mirador del Cabrerizo – Peñas Royas
- Distance: 5 km round trip
- Elevation Gain: 200 meters
- A scenic trail with breathtaking views of Albarracín from above. The perfect introduction to the area’s natural beauty before returning to the hotel to unwind.
After the hike, relax back at the hotel by the fire with a warm mug of hot cocoa.
Day 2 Saturday
Morning Hike: Barranco Mingo Marco and La Hoz- Distance: 8–10 km
- Elevation Gain: 350 m
- This scenic hike winds through the stunning Barranco Mingo Marco and La Hoz canyons, with dramatic views and unique rock formations.
Return to town for lunch (not included).
Afternoon Walk: Guided Town Walk of Albarracín- Distance: 2 km
- Elevation Gain: Minimal
- We’ll stroll through Albarracín’s medieval streets, discovering landmarks like the Cathedral of El Salvador and the Plaza Mayor.
Relax with some free time or warm up by the fire back at the hotel.
Dinner out at a local restaurant (not included).Day 3 Wednesday
Breakfast, Check-Out, and Depart for Chulilla
Arrive in Chulilla mid-morning for a memorable hike on the famous hanging bridges trail.
Hike: Hanging Bridges of Chulilla (Ruta de los Pantaneros)- Distance: 10 km circular route
- Elevation Gain: 300 meters
- This trail leads us over two breathtaking hanging bridges spanning the turquoise Turia River, along scenic canyons, and through rocky pathways.
Post-hike lunch in Chulilla (not included).
