What we’re about

Join us for a unique art therapy workshop designed to help individuals explore the impact of addiction in their lives through creative expression. Led by an experienced psychologist specializing in addiction recovery and a skilled art therapist, this session provides a safe, supportive space to connect with your inner self and others.
Participants will be free to create personal artwork to reflect any of their experience with addiction—whether directly or indirectly—and the journey toward healing. You don’t need any artistic experience; the focus is on self-expression, not skill, with an emphasis on creative freedom in a non-judgmental space. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to share your work in a facilitated group discussion, offering as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to understand the role of addiction in their life, explore new perspectives, and engage in self-discovery. Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply seeking insight, you’ll find connection and empowerment in this creative process.
This workshop is led by Ekaterina Reymarova and Richard Neal.
About Richard:
As an art therapist, I aim to be as open, accepting and non-judgmental as possible, seeing my role to facilitate growth by meeting you and your work fully where you are. I believe in creative freedom – the art therapy studio is a space where work is not to be judged, where any means of expressing oneself in any material available is given free reign. It is an honour to be in the presence of you and your work
I work in both private practice in Kreuzberg and in the Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine at the Charite hospital, Berlin. I possess the German Heilpraktiker for psychotherapy, studied art therapy at the Sigmund Freud University, Berlin, and have a Master of Fine Art from the University of Newcastle, UK.
About Ekaterina:
I am a practicing psychologist and a firm believer in humanity.
I've been working with the topic of addiction for the past 10 years in research, inpatient settings, and in my private practice. Throughout all of this work, the healing power of creative expression never ceased to amaze me. I believe that by approaching addiction through the artistic modalities, we provide a strong avenue for deep healing and joy.
I hold an M.Sc. degree in Psychology, currently work on my PhD, and can't wait to meet you on November 23!
There are only 6 spots available. Please register promptly.
Price of the workshop including all the materials is 80 euros. See less
