"The Ladders" - Ladder Canyon and Painted Canyon Trail

This is a popular, FUN, and very unique hike! At 4.4 miles and 866' elevation gain, challenging features include sand, rock scrambling, and as the name suggests, climbing ladders! That said, due to the nature of the trail, this will be a "no hiker left behind" event, meaning we will take rest stops as needed to ensure the group stays together. Please be sure you are prepared, as quitting midway is problematic. In addition to water, you might want to bring a lunch. Dogs are not allowed; kids may join as long as they are old enough and able to keep up. Car pools are advisable as it is a 2 hour drive from the Hemet-Temecula-Menifee area. Limit of 20 hikers and one guest per member (encourage friends to join the group!)
