Soroptimists and Hope at Home - who are they and what do they do?

Two talks by
(1) Soroptimist International’s President Ruth Healey and
(2) Hope at Home’s Hosting Coordinator Charlotte Hockton
A joint meeting to learn more about the aims and achievements of each of these two charities. They have occasionally worked together for example supporting broken homes and families in Sierra Leone.
Soroptimist International’s President Ruth Healey (in person) will describe their work both locally and across the world to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls.
Hosting Coordinator Charlotte Hockton (by Zoom) will discuss Hope at Home’s work supporting volunteer hosts to welcome a survivor of modern slavery into their homes, preventing homelessness and re-trafficking.
