This group is designed for all women age 55 and up. Our theme is creating a more positive outlook and happiness in our lives! We are a group of genuine, welcoming women who are growth oriented and forever young in mind and spirit! We offer movie night, monthly book club, festivals, happy hour, walking, concerts, self improvement, plays, movies, Euchre, game night, dining out and more. We are always open for new ideas. We are a friendship group with NO business networking.

GUIDELINES
If you would like to join our group**.... YOU MUST post a current photo of only yourself.** Your garden is beautiful, your grandchildren and pets are adorable but we need a picture of you. It's important for us to have this so we can identify and recognize you at an event. We will not approve you without a current photo.
1. ATTENDANCE
a. When a new member is approved to join Fab55, she will have three months to attend an event. Any woman who has not attended an event within the first three months of joining will be dropped from membership. Any woman who has not attended an event within a year’s time will be dropped from membership. We will have a three-month grace period, beginning September 1, 2023, for inactive members to attend an event and remain a member. After December 1, 2023, inactive members who meet the above criteria will be dropped. Any member who has been dropped due to inactivity can rejoin the group at any time.
b. We sometimes have to limit the number of attendees to an event, which may result in a waitlist. If you are on a waitlist, please make sure your notification settings allow you to receive emails/updates, so that you will know if you have been moved up to attend. Some of our hosts require you to provide your cell number when you RSVP-yes. If you don't have the host's cell # then they do not have yours, so be sure to provide it in the RSVP function, to avoid being waitlisted.
c. Sending an RSVP for an event means you have committed to attending. Event organizers have invested a considerable amount of time planning an event for the rest of us to enjoy. It is rude to cancel at the last minute or worse, just not show. Everyone has emergencies, that’s a fact of life. However, we are a group that depends on each other to keep their commitments. Going forward, members who just don’t show up will be dropped from membership. Members who cancel their RSVP the day of the event – for whatever reason – three or more times within a three-month period will be dropped from membership. Reinstatement will not be automatic. Reinstatement will be by vote of event organizers.
2. CONDUCT: Everyone is welcome. There will be no political debates, no derogatory political speech, no proselytizing, no gossip, and no cliques. It is expected that everyone will be treated in a polite, civil manner. Members who cannot do this will be dropped.
3. SAFETY: If anyone has a concern about another member’s safety or well-being, please talk to the member you are concerned about. If any member feels unsafe in the presence of another member, please contact the organizer and clearly articulate the safety issue. However, Fab55 does not undertake the task of providing safety for anyone, nor do we guarantee anyone’s safety.
4. PHOTOS: Everyone had to submit a clear, fairly recent photo of themselves to join. This is a private group; members’ photos are not available to the general public. Members who change their photo to a photo that does not meet the criteria, after admission to the group, shall be dropped from membership.
