No Drumming Experience is Required, and Drums are Provided. Feel good and have fun!
People join community drum circles for different reasons. For example, some people enjoy the musicality of drumming, others enjoy the social interaction and others may attend because it is expressive and relaxes them.
We are family friendly and a diverse community that welcome anyone who wants to participate in recreational drumming regardless of abilities.
Our intent is to be inclusive and non-judgmental. We welcome anyone who wants to experience the energy of group drumming and share their drumming spirit.
We always start with a warm-up, showing technique and simple rhythms then progress to a more spontaneous evening of drumming.
The main focus is to HAVE FUN.
Jim Copeman, drum circle facilitator for Feel The Rhythm Drum Circles and world fusion percussionist, hosts this event.
Drums are provided and there is a $10 drop in fee.
We meet on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7-9 pm at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna.
Drum Circles are for all ages and help you to release stress, get energized and meet some really great peeps!
