Clarity in thinking and movement lead to expansive understanding for useful, practical results in daily life and therapeutic situations.

A unique 4 day comprehensive presentation of the different aspects and practices of the Jeremy Krauss Approach, grounded in understanding of Abilities Development and functional use of movement.

In the field of Somatic movement learning much emphasis is often placed on ‘personal experience’ and ‘process orientation’, leaving out ‘results’ and ‘clarity’. How to achieve specific results directly with clear explanations is important for personal and professional development.

Much is left to chance or just glossed over without the clarity of understanding and explanations of how to achieve clear results. This is true for group work in movement and individual somatic therapeutic sessions.

In this workshop you will be led through a variety of unique movement sequences on the floor and in standing, as well as observe demonstrations that will include concrete explanations with specific applications for adults and children.

IN THE 4 DAYS THERE WILL BE:
→ Abilities group lessons and Sensory Active Movement sequences

→ A sampling of JKA Solvents and Glue progression in standing

→ Demonstrations of JKA Developmental and Functional Hands-on with adults and children

About Jeremy Krauss:
In his over 40 years of teaching and clinical practice Jeremy has taught hundreds of students in his JKA work and the Feldenkrais Method. The clarity of his teaching and the explanations of the results achieved in movement and the kinesthetic level is very unique, refreshing and enlightening. He has graduated 14 trainings of the JKA work with children and is now in his all inclusive 3 year Abilities Training. Jeremy Krauss was a direct student of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and in his career presenting Dr. Feldenkrais’s ideas he directed personally over 28 training programs. He has also created and developed groundbreaking work in the field of early developmental movement and its applications to special needs children. The Jeremy Krauss Approach Abilities training now includes learning to work with adults in groups and hands-on as well as special needs children.
