Wednesday Cafe Friendship Circle & Farmer's Market

Let's meet in Carlsbad Village and combine our Cafe Circle with the option to spend some time at the local farmer's market.

We will meet at our usual time of 1:30 pm at Revolution Roasters in Carlsbad Village. We will meet on their back patio at tables on the green turf. Place your drink and snack order at the front counter. Please note the chairs are metal. When I sat on one it felt hard and cold. If that is a challenge bring a small seat pillow or folded blanket for padding.

The market begins at 2:30 pm and goes into the evening. It's an easy stroll between the cafe and the market. Feel free to enjoy one or both of these activities. I'll probably enjoy a drink and visit for about an hour and then head to the market to pick up some local flowers, produce and stop at a few of my favorite stands. But those who prefer to remain at the cafe and visit are free to do so. We are a casual group.

If the farmer's market isn't your thing, there is beach access from the village via a staircase at the west end of Grand. The north corner of the market is at Grand and State. Reach out to someone else in our group you've connected with to meet up prior or afterwards to enjoy a beach stroll and visit.

Parking shouldn't be too difficult since we are arriving in the village before the market opens. There is some street parking nearby and on surrounding blocks. There is also Carlsbad City lots next door to the cafe. They are often full on Wednesday afternoons but it may be worth a drive through to check out. I often park in the nearby Coaster rail parking lot where there is always parking.

Please be courteous and update your RSVP NO LATER than 48 hours prior. RSVP close time is 10 am the day of event.

I've scheduled this for one hour, but anyone who'd like to stay and visit longer, or include a walk before or afterwards is welcome.
