This event is sponsored by Pleasanton Military Families (PMF)

Starting at 9 :00 AM, PMF will hold one of their 3 "pack-outs" for the year. EVERYONE is welcomed.

What is it: A "pack-out" is where you go shopping to pack boxes and don't have to pay! From the donations that PMF has received, we separate them out onto tables and have volunteers fill boxes to the brim before mailing. Each "pack-out" has 1 box that has a theme. This one will celebrate Christmas

Where: Our "pack-outs" are always held at the VFW on Main Street.

Who benefits: Our packages go to our loved ones who are deployed over-seas, and their friends who do not ever get something from home.

Time: Believe it or not, we usually pack 200 boxes in 45 minutes of less. It's crazy fun, but the fun is short lived. So be there a few minutes before nine. Then help to pack what is left to take back to save for the next one in March.

Other: All ages really do enjoy this event, and PMF is always looking for help during our "pack-outs". Just ask me, and I'd be happy to share more.
