This 4 week session will explore natural dyeing from mordanting to full immersion dyeing. Learn how to mordant your plant and animal fibers to prepare them for dyeing, what modifiers and additives you can use for enhancing the mordanting process, and preparing your items to hold color. Then we"ll begin exploring how to create a natural dye pot using plant materials.

This class is Thursdays from 10am - 12pm, Oct 3rd - 24th.

There is an additional materials fee of $35 that covers all dye materials, plants, and the book Wild Color by Jenny Dean.
