Do you enjoy creating with precious fibers and the camaraderie between crafters? Then Fiber Friends Studios' Meetup is for you! Our Meetup is a great way to develop new friendships, expand your skillset, and exchange ideas. The Meetup gathers wherever there is good food and is a great way to support local restaurants and coffee shops.
Members support local charity projects, including Knitted Knocker, knitted and crocheted breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies. During Chicago winters, they "Warm-up Hyde Park" by knitting hats, scarves, and gloves to leave throughout the neighborhood for anyone in need to take.
